Can Lidocaine Numbing Gel Help with Premature Ejaculation?

This is my Journey to Mastering Arousal control using Lidocaine Numbing Gel. I struggled with premature ejaculation since the age of 18, and now at 28, I want to share what I've learned and what I did to improve my time in bed with my wife. Lidocaine is a numbing gel used to numb skin for some minor activities, like a catheter placement. My intention is to help others who, like me, are finding their intimate life frustrating. I used to feel constantly on edge during physical intimacy; now, I can relax because I know I have more control over my body's responses.

 

The Solution:

  1. Lidocaine Gel (Primary Method)

  2. Breathing (Complementary)

  3. Ab Workouts (Complementary)

 

The primary benefit comes from the lidocaine gel. Lidocaine is a gel found in most drugstores, typically used to numb the skin for minor injuries like burns and cuts. I discovered that it could also help desensitize the male organ.

The Mindset on How to Use It:

Don't use it without a plan. Use it as a tool to help you gain more control. With practice, you may find that you no longer need the gel to maintain control of your arousal. Think of it like training wheels on a bicycle. The gel provides a significant buffer for you to understand and experiment with your body's arousal patterns. Without the gel, arousal might spike quickly; with the gel, you can extend that time considerably.

 

How to Apply It:

I recommend two applications before the intimate encounter. You can do this:

  • Once 1 hour before intimacy

  • And again 30 minutes before (remember to clean the area before the second application) Or:

  • Once 30 minutes before intimacy

  • And again 15 minutes before (remember to clean the area before the second application)

The dose size: Apply the equivalent of two small drops of gel. Apply the first drop to the most sensitive area and the second to the rest of the organ.

 

The Expected Result:

You will be able to achieve and maintain physical readiness during the encounter, and you will feel much more in control. Use this opportunity to understand how your breathing and pelvic position affect your level of arousal.

What about the Breathing and Ab Workout?

Breathing This helps with control while using the gel to extend your sessions. Try to take a deep breath, hold for 1-2 seconds, then exhale for 5 seconds. The sensation you should feel is your lungs expanding and being filled up.

Ab Workout This helps you to intentionally relax the pelvic muscles by tilting your pelvis forward and engaging your abs slightly. This subtle movement can significantly reduce arousal and provide more control, even without the gel! I suggest training with an exercise like "hanging leg raises" and then replicating the core-engaging motion during intimate encounters.

 

RECAP:

1- I apply first (about a teardrop size dose) over the head and glans. I take my time to spread it out, it's very consistent so you don't need a lot of applications. Then I apply another "teardrop" over the entire penis. I do this 2 times, once 30 min before the planned time to have sex, then once 15 min before the time to sex.

2- I don't self-stimulate my penis. I never had benefits from that. It's just a shot in your own foot. Just quit any type of self-stimulation or explicit content.

3- In the first time I lasted over 45 min of solely penetration (it was way more than enough, she came 2x). Not holding back, not worrying, being able to relax. I don't know if it's going to be the same for you, so my advice is to go easy at first. Specially because the amount of gel you need to pour might differ from person to person.
