This programme is designed to equip trainees with the right competence in knowledge, skills and attitude in becoming an all round and competent nurse who is able to deliver quality and safe nursing interventions. A registered community health nurse is diverse and dynamic with the ability to work in different fields of healthcare utilising current medical technology and equipment, globally. Graduates can secure employment in all level hospitals owned by the government, county, mission and/or private, healthcare providing institution, international and local non-governmental organisations. Diploma in nursing holders can advance their studies to degree level or to nursing specialisation field.
KCSE Mean grade C (plain) with
C plain in Biology and English/Swahili,
C-(minus) in Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry.
