Another vehicle has plunged into Indian Ocean Today Morning December 07 2019. This is another Likoni Ferry Tragedy that comes barely 3 months after a woman and her daughter died at the Likoni Channel after their car plunged into the Indian Ocean water off the ferry ramp.
Waking up to this news, the car with an unknown number of occupants plunged into the Indian Ocean at the Likoni Channel in Mombasa. Officials have issued a statement saying the saloon car was on the mainland side of the channel when the driver drove at a high speed into the ocean from the ramp at around 4.20 am Saturday.
The Kenya Ferry Service (KFS) said that the driver of the saloon car the plunged into the ocean drove at a high-speed moments after paying for a ticket and accidentally plunged into the waters.
KFS has since given reports that the search is underway and the number of the saloon car occupants still remains unknown.
